Can't you move a line?

When you make a line (the tool whos icon looks like "3m") it seems that its permanently stuck to the drawing?
Isn’t there away to move it about?

Yes, you can drag it by a point or by the line. You may have to zoom in and drag it some distance because it snaps to its starting location. kind regards Nico 2009/10/26

Ah, it may have been the snapping which was the problem – can’t that be disabled? 2009/10/26
