Draw your first room
This is an empty plan. Let’s create a room to fill the void space.
- In the Construction menu, click the ‘draw room’ icon (leftmost).

- Click anywhere on the grid to create your room’s first corner, then anywhere else to complete the room. Your room will appear.

Feel free to play around with your new room. You can drag the corners to create skewed angles, drag the walls themselves, or even split walls for more complex shapes.

Draw your second room
Having drawn your first room, adding a second room is just as easy.
- Again, click the ‘draw room’ icon in the Construction menu (leftmost).

- Click on a corner of your first room, then anywhere else to complete the room. The second room will appear

Notice how the rooms interact. You can drag their corners and walls around.

Add a door
Rooms need an entrance. You can add a door easily.- Click the ‘add door or window’ icon in the Construction menu (fourth from left). The library will switch to the Category ‘Doors and windows’.

- Pick a door you like in the Library menu, then drag and drop it to a wall. The door will appear.

You can change the door’s orientation and size by double-clicking it.

Adding furniture to your rooms
Let’s add some atmosphere to the room by adding furniture.
- In the Library menu, select your preferred furniture category. Furniture pieces appear in the library window.
- Find a piece of furniture you like, then drag and drop it into a room.

When you’ve selected a piece of furniture in the floor-plan, you can rotate and resize it.

View your floor plan in 3D
You can make your floor-plan come to life by viewing it in 3d.
- Click the 3d button.

- Click and hold the mouse button to rotate the view.

Congratulations
You’ve completed your first floor-plan. Click on the top-left floppy disk icon to save it.
