I can’t see my plans in 3D. What must I do???

I cant see my plans at all.

some objects in 3D are places on different place, outside the room. How can I change this? Can I move objects in 3D?

First of all…thanks for this truly simple and brilliant software. I am working on a design for a mud-based green home. How do I hide the measurements in the design? The measurements clutters the design and makes it difficult to get a clear top view. Thanks.

Got the answer from the forum. Its in the 2D menu.

I did not find “Pillars” and “Steps” in the listed objects. It would be great to add it or is there some way to create them? Thanks.

When I select the options to display the dimentions, the selection dissappears every time after a while.

I tried to login again, to acces via the old version, but I did not get the option so now I cannot save any changes I make. I want out this new version and back to the old one…

when i move my furniture it’s duplicated… where can i delete it?

i don’t like not being able to switch from the new version back to the old one. and the undo and redo options are very much missed!

I was initially very pleased ro find this site in that I am remodeling parts of my house. It turns out to be a big waste of time . No tutorial or support. Can’t enter simple rectangular dimensions instead of drawing. Drawing is overcomplcated for m purpose and I can’ find a way to simplify. So far no good! you have to make the system more user friendly! RSVP. Thanks.

I thoroughly agree with the last post. I cannot bring up my previous plats and when I try to build another one I am told that I cannot without ujpgrading. I cannot load my previous drawings. Your help is of no help at all. I have wanted to design a room, and when I did it was not saved, at least I cannot get to it. The plans are listed but nothing opens when I click on the file name. All of the previous post is so true.

tried expanding to 5 floors to gain 5 label views – only three show the positions 4 and 5 overwrite labels one and two.

My biggest question is, after selecting New Plan this data entry form pops up, I have no idea what sort of data I need to enter into this thing in order to begin designing.., perhaps a how to, or help button should be in order. I know a number of people who are going to be completely stumped by this.

Plans doesnt load. Can the See “loading” on the screen. But even after an hour it still remains the same. The plans doesnt appear

Same Problem. Only loading button with 2 script error on page.

I also have the same loading problem. An hour ago it still worked.

I need to reinstall Flash. I clicked on FlashUtil9f.exe file from C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash diretory.

I can not find a symbol for a stove or a fireplace

when objects overlap in 2d, then the 3d picture does’nt work. I would like to enter heights of a object and some kind of “magnet raster” for outlining while rotating a object or drawing a line.

i can’t change from m/cm to ft/in. i try to change but when it asks me to save, i’m back to m/cm.

How do it to delete unsaved changes?

No matter how many times I select “imperial” measurement, that is ft/in, it changes back to m/cm. Quite inconvenient.

Additionally, I believe you mean “losing” rather than “loosing” in the text of the FAQ.

I saved the plan last night. Tonight, I am looking at it and want to change the dimensions. I can’t seem to do it and the dimensions on the info button are greyed out. What gives?

If you save the “ft/in” measurement settings, it instantly switches back to metric. Ridiculous.

Will not save Ft/Inch measurements…defaults back to metric measurements. :-(

When you switch between metric/imperial, it is saved in your settings from now on.

im trying to make a house plan but all i can see is LOADING……
can some one please help me?

Bug 1: Several surfaces have become impossible to select in order to delete them.

Request 1: Make a setting to help snap to a grid. Some of the long walls where rooms connect are not straight because of this and dimensions get out of whack.

Request 2: Make the single line wall tool snap and connect to the room wall instead of it moving separate.

Request 3: Make library items reshapable in some instances such as being able to make the bay window more squared off or able to edit the L shaped kitchen combination pieces so altering one direction of the size does not misshapen the opposite direction.

Another bug but this one is regarding the feedback form.
It does not work in Firefox 3. I can select “Report Bug” and it makes the bug button a bit bigger but there is no where to type anything and hitting Send marks it red with what looks like a single red border line at the bottom. So its trying to validate the form but it just does not function properly for Firefox 3.

I can likely help debug it for you if someone contacts me outside of this commentary list but it looks like a product you are using from another company.

I just spent a bunch of time creating the current layout of my office, saving changes along the way, and now the entire design is missing from my account. It’s just… gone.

This experience doesn’t make me want to pay money for the product.

Passei uns dias sem utilizar o
o florplaner e estou com imensa dificuldade. Tento fazer modificações e não estou conseguindo. Seria importante que nos disponibilizassem um tutorial. Sem isso perdemos muito tempo. Já estou quase a desistir. Na versão antiga já estava me familiarizando e com idéia de migrar para o plano Plus. Com a nova versão estou todo atrapalhado. Não sei se valerá a pena.Estarei aguardando um tutorial, pos as dúvidas são muitas e não tenho tempo para ficar buscando as soluções. Espero que possam ajudar.

Is it possible to copy a plan? if i painted the first floor i’d like to reuse it for the second floor.

nocontrol.. just make a minor change, then click the disk icon on the left, and save it with a new name.. ;)
Anyway, the bug I have found is that the speaker dimensions don’t represent accurately. If I make a 25″ × 25″ speaker, it appears rectangular – I have to increase the dimensions to 25×50 to get it to look square, and also to line up with wall measurements… “Surround speakers” also do the same thing.
Great app though… thanks for making it available!!

Every time I access beta, I always see “Loading…” I have the latest version of flash and firefox but nothing seems to be working. I’ve tried to delete my cookies and cache. What should I do?

I want to build a second flood with the same overall design as the ground. Is there a way to duplicate the plan?

Like Requiem, I also want to duplicate a second floor. How do you lay down the second floor on top of the first and continue planning?

I cannot find a washer or dryer for my laundry room. Please add as it would help with my dimensions. I also like the idea above for making the walls “snap” together because it’s very hard to get the mouse to cooperate and they end up off 1" here or there. Thanks, I love this planner now that I’m used to it.

This is great! A few things.. we are trying to work with our standard of 4.5 inch thick walls, but it keeps resetting to 5 inches. Plus we haven’t been able to use fractional dimensions (like 12.5 inches) for wall lengths, will that change? Also, what about an option to show only interior wall lengths (interior space) and not exterior as it does now? It would be great to be able to select which wall segments, windows, etc you want to see dimensions for in the image. THANK YOU FOR THIS!

I love your Floorplanner, but how do I put in flooring like carpet?

I can’t seem to save my floorplan… I’m logged in to my account but the only option is “save your plan in a new account” and when I try to do so I get the error message “creating an account failed for an unknown reason. Please try again or later.” I’ve tried it several times, with my current account email address and a different one, and I tried last night and again this morning, still no luck.

This program/site is barely usable. My middle school tech class was using it to create floorplans for a major school project, but we will be abandoning said project as the kids have been repeatedly disappointed by the general dysfunction of this website. Functional inconsistencies (floor textures are possible in some rooms but not others), saving snafus (some floors have disappeared and been replaced by duplicates of other floors) and exceedingly slow operation contributed to a very poor experience with this site. These are just a few problems that need to be addressed to justify the publication of this website.

Mine works great, all functions as described, not slow, no buggy problems, so on… however I lost my entire floorplan which I spent hours designing because I never did hear back on how to save it, and after a few days I finally had to close the browser so I could reset the computer. Dissapointing.
